03 Our history
From a dot-com retrenchment to a software house with staying power.
- 1988Elbie Louw starts in the IT industry, building systems for corporates such as Telkom, UNISA and Standard Bank.
- 2002Elbie is retrenched from South African dot-com Tanua Technologies and starts eCcenTrix.
- Along the wayDozens of websites, intranets and business systems, including Process Assist, the SARS-integrated import/export system still in daily use.
- TodayecTimesheets and Rent-a-Pensioner are live, with more products on the drawing board.
Our vision
Grow, go global, and give back.
We want to grow eCcenTrix into a client-centric corporate company, extend our offerings worldwide, and keep developing products that make businesses more productive and efficient.
We also plan to start a software development village on the farm, training talented, underprivileged school leavers to become successful software developers and designers who can compete on the international market.
